Full Job Description
| Do you have the proven ability to lead a team of financial crime professionals, develop and maintain the FCP policy framework in Hong Kong, engage with senior management on complex topics of policy changes, risk assessments, and control results, handle regulatory inspections? We are looking for a Head of FCP Hong Kong to: Oversee the execution of the FCP mandate for the wealth management business in Hong Kong, including key controls such as client lifecycle processes (onboarding, periodic reviews, offboarding), name screening, transaction monitoring, investigations, and suspicious activity reporting; Provide strategic direction, independent oversight, and challenge to the businesses, ensuring alignment with global minimum standards and local regulatory requirements; Lead and develop a team of financial crime professionals; Act as the point of contact for Hong Kong regulators and law enforcement authorities on FCP matters; Manage regulatory inspections, requests, and filings in accordance with required timelines; Work closely with regional and global FCP leadership, including the regional head of FCP APAC and regional heads of Sanctions, Anti-Fraud, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption, to ensure consistent coverage and implementation of all FCP taxonomies; Own and maintain AML-related policies in Hong Kong, conduct gap analyses against regulatory changes, and implement global minimum standards; Represent FCP in local governance forums and risk committees and ensure timely escalation and reporting of key matters to senior stakeholders; Drive the FCP vision and strategy in Hong Kong, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and risk profiles, and perform 2LoD activities in close coordination with 1LoD to ensure effective risk management; Act as Section 72B Manager and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the wealth management business in Hong Kong. | Show more Hong Kong Head of Financial Crime Prevention |
