Main Purpose:

We are looking for an accomplished Oracle Delivery / Application Support Lead with extensive experience in managing E2E Oracle Cloud Projects. An ideal candidate would be responsible for driving project deliverables in partnership with vendor teams, make quick decisions and provide practical solutions for challenging problems. Demonstrates strong ability to think through the requirements from a business user point of view and work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines. The candidate will collaborate with various stake holders across IT and business user groups for complex end-to-end trading platform.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities (Oracle Delivery Lead):       

  • To ensure Oracle Project Delivery is aligned to support high-level Business and Trading IT goals, address key pain points, and contribute to defined success factors.
  • To maintain and support current Production instance as Application Support Manager alongwith new implementations. Daily Production health check and closing prod tickets as per agreed KPIs / SLA.
  • Actively monitor project progress, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), project plans, budget and resource allocation.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Oversee the effective use of tools like JIRA for tracking Epics, Stories, and Defects.
  • Champion and enforce incremental project phases and early validation activities. This aims to reduce risks, prevent late-stage surprises, and enable continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Implement and maintain QA processes throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on proactive prevention of defects and issues.
  • Ensure Business engagement for successful UAT planning and execution
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including business owners, project teams, vendors, and management. Provide regular updates on assurance activities, risks, and issues.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the project team and with vendors. Promote open communication and proactive problem-solving.

Skill Set:

  • Planning, organizing, and executing Oracle projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Tracking project progress, identifying deviations from plans, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Sound understanding of Oracle Functional and Integration landscape including Finance and Accounting (AP, AR, GL, Payments, AHCS), SCM, OTM, External Integrations for Tax, eInvoicing, Payments, etc.
  • Sound understanding of Oracle Technical landscape e.g. OIC, DBCS, PaaS, API, OTBI, etc.
  • Manage end to end project delivery by coordinating with external apps (inhouse and 3rd party)
  • Manage Functional / Technical delivery by working closely with Oracle Functional and Technical Leads
  • Demonstrate and maintain strong working relations with business user groups
  • Work with vendor partners for Project deliverables and day to day Project activities
  • Work with Oracle Product Team for any product issues or enhancements through SR process

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience working in Oracle ERP implementation and 5+ years in Fusion cloud
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent/relevant education
  • Preferred understanding of commodities trading or other trading domains
