Role Summary

Manages a team of 10-12 Retirement Plan Managers responsible for providing high-quality operational and administrative support to clients. Responsible for ensuring that good client relations are maintained and that client plans are operating efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures team follows operational and administrative processes. Analyzes trends and recommends process enhancements to improve team performance.
  • Acts as an escalation point for complex problems that less experienced resources cannot solve. Provides input into decision-making processes.
  • Communicates with clients and prospects to support their operational and administrative needs and ensure high client satisfaction. Communicates any significant client issues with their relationship managers.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and leadership support for business initiatives. Drives adoption and execution of business initiatives.
  • Develops Client relationships with key client contacts based on need.
  • Coaches and develops associates to department expectations and business objectives. Engages in the recruiting, onboarding and talent management processes for all staff.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • At least 8 years of Retirement Plan Administration experience
  • At least 2 years of Management experience
  • Retirement Plan Credentials such as QKA, QKC, etc.
  • Experience with the OMNI recordkeeping system

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$100,000 - $155,000 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$100,000 - $155,000 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$100,000 - $155,000 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individuals relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
