Who we are looking for

We are recruiting candidates college student looking for hands-on experience in Corporate Finance for a FinTech company. Throughout the 6 months, candidates will be highly involved in strategic work across process documentation/improvement, metrics reporting & forecasting, data visualization, and business partnership. The Finance Operations Intern is within the Sales Finance function located in Burlington, MA.

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for

As Finance Operations Intern you will

  • Support bookings tracking, pipeline analysis and sales forecast

  • Align with Accounting, Sales, and Sales Enablement on consistency of data and data entries into Salesforce.com and accounting systems

  • Perform various reports weekly or monthly for FP&A team on sales activities and key client metrics

  • Drive process improvement and documentation

  • Support other ad-hoc data requests as needed

What we value

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills

  • Experience with data analysis and presentations

  • High interest in Corporate Finance and Fintech industry

  • Availability to work in a hybrid setting is preferred

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Finance, Economics or Business degree is required

  • Experience with MS Suite is preferred

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
