SGM PaaS Support Engineer :

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Azure environment, including network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, policy governance and security.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform for the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python and Bash scripting.
• Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts during production incidents. Develop and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience with implementing security controls in a cloud.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Possess a good understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns.
• Assist teams to migrate existing applications from On-premises to Azure.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested solutions and technologies meet the requirements.
• Experience with Azure cloud cost management and optimization strategies.

Profile Required:

• Hands on experience in Azure.
• Scripting Knowledge on Powershell, Python, Shell Scripting.
• Good Knowledge on CI/CD integrations tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.
• DevOps experience and Azure certification is an added advantage.
