Responsibilities

We are seeking to hire a skilled Senior Internal Auditor who will participate in audit engagements, in the implementation of specific projects to consolidate and develop the audit tools and methodology, contribute to the risk assessment exercise and train/coach the audit team members.  The role involves working in an international environment, leveraging an extended team delivery model to perform audit engagements across multiple countries.

The candidate will join the Internal Audit team dedicated to Ayvens (ex ALD), Subsidiary of the Socit Gnrale group, specialized in the Car financial services born from the combination of ALD Automotive and LeasePlan. Ayvens is the leader of the Operational car leasing, with operations in 44 countries.

What you will do:

  •  
    • Participate in audit assignments, perform the allocated reviews and ensure a proper formalization of the audit works;
    • Analyze processes with focus on significant risks;

    • Propose the audit program designed to evaluate the risks identified, including the sample to be tested and budget definition;

    • Provide quality and timely output with comprehensive, objective, consistent and properly worded information;

    • Monitor the progress of the audit works assigned and fulfilment of deadlines;
    • Formulate in logical way the conclusions: audit conclusions from verification performed and elaborate recommendations meant to address the causes of identified weaknesses that can be realistically implemented within a reasonable timeframe;

    • Offer support and coaching to the least experienced team members and reviews their work.

    • Follow-up of audit recommendations and their implementation together with adequate stakeholders.

Profile required

  • At least 4 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, financial or external audit;
  • Experience in Car leasing / financing activities represents a plus;
  • Advanced level of English, spoken and written;
  • Microsoft Office and Database processing skills;
  • Spirit of synthesis and deep critical mind;
  • Good oral and written communication, ability to communicate with various types of stakeholders;
  • Motivated by challenges with a good sense of creativity and innovation;
  • Strong analytical skills, quick grasp and constructive judgement;
  • Ability to comprehend and present complex issues to the respective recipients;
  • Flexibility, ability to work in teams and intercultural competence;
  • Ability to travel at least up to  25% of the time.
