Responsibilities

POSITION OBJECTIVE

  • Originate, structure and execute Korean ECA supported financial advisory and arranging business as GLBA/FNA/DSE product banker.
  • Achieve quantitative targets and qualitative targets for DSE Korea as a team

PRINCIPAL RESPONSABILITIES

  • Be responsible for the Development & Structured Export Finance (DSE) business in Seoul, reporting to the Head of DSE Seoul.
  • Originate, structure, and execute competitive and innovative export financing solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean Export Credit Agencies (ECAs).
  • Manage and monitor the DSE portfolio to ensure asset quality and policy compliance.
  • Achieve agreed business targets and support crossselling in collaboration with other Business Lines.
  • Act as Deal Leader, overseeing transaction structuring, approvals, documentation, and execution.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients and headquartersbased product, industry, and account management teams.
  • Ensure strict adherence to risk management, compliance, ESG principles, and internal governance.
  • Act as a key contact point for local authorities and regulators when required.
  • Contribute to strategic and crossfunctional initiatives to strengthen the Banks export finance franchise in Korea.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage transaction, operational, and compliance risks, ensuring full alignment with the Banks risk culture and zerotolerance standards.

Profile required

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
  • Significant experience in structured export finance, project finance, or corporate banking, with direct exposure to ECAbacked transactions
  • Proven ability to originate, structure, and execute competitive and innovative financing solutions, acting as Deal Leader across the full transaction lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of credit, transaction, operational, and compliance risks, with experience working under strict governance, approval, and documentation frameworks in an international banking environment.
  • Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder coordination skills, including close interaction with corporates, ECAs, internal product teams, risk, legal, and compliance functions.
  • Fluency in Korean and English is required
