Job Description:

1.Perform the following duties: 

1.1 Laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products 

1.2 Adjust Bills of Material as required by changes in base oil physical and chemical properties. 

1.3 Interpretation of test data to determine if products meet specification, and certifying products for sale to end customers. 

1.4 Carry out testing the samples from APME+ lab for supporting regional lube lab project 

2. Participate in the quarterly Lubricants Laboratory Correlation Scheme (LLCS), Grease Laboratory Correlation Scheme (GLCS) and Global Fuel Proficiency Scheme (GFPS). 

3. Work with the Laboratory Supervisor to optimize Product Treat Costs. 

4. Release all blending products if they are on-spec. and reject the off-spec. products and advise or assist to operation supervisors for solving the off-spec./contaminated problem. 

5. To do Preventive maintenance/Calibration for all laboratory apparatus by contacting with Engineering Department or local suppliers. To issue purchase order of chemical reagents and prepare standard solution using for daily test. 

6. To prepare laboratory reports and ISO- documents e.g. KPI, COQ/COA Lab analysis reports. 

7. To work under ISO 17025 Laboratory standard system 

8. Be able to work with GSAP-QM module 

9. To ensure that all activities are carried out property under ISO, Group HSSE & SP policy and local regulation. 

Requirements:

  • Graduated from bachelor's degree as minimum. Preferred related fields i.e. Chemical, Applied Chemical, Industrial Chemical, Chemistry
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in related field (Laboratory, Quality Control, Quality Assurance)
  • Good English skill in both verbal and written
  • Able to work as shift work
