About the role:
As an Accountant in the Core Accounting unit at SEB, you will be part of an inclusive and professional team. In this role, you will take part in payments-related accounting processes and general ledger activities, ensuring high-quality financial data and compliance with internal controls. You will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organization.
- Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities
- Month-end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks
- Follow processing and reporting deadlines
- G/L accounts reconciliation
- Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders
- Work together with the team on continuous process improvements
- Follow Internal Controls of Financial and Reporting framework
- Over 1 year of combined experience in accounting and finance
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
- Ability to multi-task, effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- A degree in Finance area is an advantage
- Experience working with IFRS and local standards is an advantage
