Full Job Description
Frontend Solution Architect to Payments & Reporting - Channels | SEB, Stockholm
- Be a part of setting, continuously improving and implementing the frontend architecture which drives our customer experience in line with business needs and priorities, and the overall customer experience objectives of SEB
- Working with stakeholders including Channel Owners, Project Managers and Developers to define and agree solution designs and other architectural inputs to the development of the frontend architecture
- Being an advisor and partner for Development Teams on both why and how to implement their solutions by setting design principles and standards, designing solutions in collaboration with Tech Leads and Senior Developers, contributing to Proof of Concepts, and guiding the evolution of the architecture
- Actively contributing to the development of the overall architecture within Payments and SEB through Communities of Practice, Guilds, and teamwork within the Architecture Team(s)
- Supporting the delivery of projects and epics in a Scaled Agile way of working
- You will belong to the Shared Service Architecture team within Accounts & Payments reporting to the Team Manager for that team, you will be an active contributor to the Enterprise and Domain Architecture group and be part of the Architecture Community within Accounts & Payments and SEB
- Your focus will be to architect the frontend customer experience architecture, but you will need to work closely with, and actively contribute to, the associated payment platform and reporting areas
- You have a strong and demonstrable foundation in frontend development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), a deep knowledge and passion for cutting-edge web technologies and frameworks (Angular, React, TypeScript, Next.js) , and the ability to lead technical decisions
- You have 5+ years experience as a Frontend Solution Architect or possibly a Tech Lead, who enjoys building high-quality, customer-focused applications
- You are knowledgeable of UX principles, WCAG, and accessibility best practices
- You have experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and DevOps
- You have a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a drive to explore new technologies
- You are comfortable working with non-technical colleagues such as Project Managers or Channel Owners and can present solution designs or decisions without all the technical details
- You are very experienced in managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity, you have experience in both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile environments
- You are hands-on when needed with the possibility to code PoCs to prove out ideas or guide development teams
- You combine a pragmatic approach with a creative and innovative mindset to find best solutions to business challenges
- BSc in computer science or related field
- You are fluent in English
- Experience leading or contributing to complex software solutions in agile teams
- Experience in financial services and bring deep business knowledge ideally in Payments and / or related domains such as Cash Management
- Familiarity with REST APIs, API Gateways, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of backend tech (.NET, Spring Boot, Jenkins) is a plus
- Any certifications or architecture methodologies experience
