About the role:
We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries Accounting I unit which is responsible for accounting for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role in daily, monthly and yearly processes for Helsinki Branch and leasing company. You will closely work with multiple stakeholders within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of the General Accounting department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.
As an Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Flawless execution of Record-to-Report transactional activities
- Month-end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks
- Follow processing and reporting deadlines
- G/L accounts reconciliation
- Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders
- Work together with the team on continuous process improvements
- Follow Internal Controls of Financial and Reporting framework
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Plus 1 year of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Degree in Finance area is a plus
- Strong attention to details and good analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- Being friendly, proactive, approachable, and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
- Willingness to develop yourself, share your knowledge and help others
- Ability to work in the team and independently and under time pressure
- Great communication skills and fluency in English, which will be your working language

2.350 - 3.300 a month
The above indicated monthly salary range for this position is before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
