- Accountable for the effective operation of the second line of defense for Wealth Management within the Swiss bank.Works in close partnership with the Head of Legal, Compliance & Risk, the CRO Wealth Management, the CEO, members of the Executive Board and senior management, while maintaining clear independence of judgement in line with Swiss regulatory expectations.Ensures alignment with Group and Wealth Management frameworks and standards, tailoring risk management approaches to the Swiss entity in accordance with applicable Swiss requirements.Principal risk domains covered

- Provide independent oversight of material risks across Wealth Management, including investment, operational, credit, and market/liquidity (balance-sheet) risks.Act as trusted adviser and effective challenger to the CEO, Executive Board and senior management; member of the Extended Executive Board.Define, embed and maintain Wealth Management-specific risk appetite, policies and control frameworks aligned with Group standards and Swiss requirements.Strengthen governance, reporting and escalation; deliver clear risk reporting to the Executive Board and Board of Directors.Provide risk leadership for new products, investment strategies and client solutions, including private markets/alternatives.Oversee and challenge first line risk and control activities (e.g., RCA programme, incidents/complaints root cause analysis, new product approvals).Partner with internal/external audit and drive effective remediation.Participate in key governance fora including ALMC, Credit Committee and CARC.Contribute to regulatory change and compliance monitoring activity in coordination with Compliance.The Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need
- Senior risk leadership experience within Wealth Management and/or Swiss banking, operating in a regulated environment.Strong breadth across key risk domains and governance, with the ability to influence and challenge at executive level while maintaining independence of judgement.Experience supporting complex investment propositions, including alternatives/private assets in a wealth context.Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate risk into clear, practical business decisions.Fluent in English (written and spoken), with German/French a plusHigh proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI) is advantageousWhat Youll Be Like
