- Lead on complex projects involving alternative asset classes, OTC/ETD derivative usage and/or non-standard Schroders processes, project managing client activities whilst ensuring all internal parties deliver to the agreed timelines and keeping stakeholders informed of progressProduction of Project implementation plan & client facing documents to track and monitor progressDevelop and execute transition implementation plans / runbooks for Client activity ensuring seamless integration and safe delivery of assetsProvide a market leading Implementation serviceCoordinate the review and execution of client legals and to actively seek to understand the client mandate and have consideration about all commercial aspects of the relationshipStrict adherence to Schroders policies and proceduresLead contact and liaison person for Clients, Consultants, other asset managers and where appropriate with third party providers such as Custodians, Administrators and Transfer AgentsLead on strategic and wider business change initiatives impacting the CIL Team, representing Client Group at working groups and/or steering committeesBuild strong relationships with the Client Group ensuring the client owners and Centres of Excellence are informed, sharing knowledge through procedures, papers and training & awareness sessionsSupport the business development process for RFPs, Pitches, Client training sessions and attending client meetings as appropriate.Seek to understand Schroders investment operational processesBuild rapport and relationships with key internal stakeholdersUphold and support the values and brand of Schroders to our clientsMaintain knowledge of the regulatory landscapeSupport the implementation of strategic and product initiativesHave or seek to develop an enhanced understanding of investment strategies and Schroders products and solutionsCarry out other duties as assigned
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need- Understanding of client lifecycle activities along with understanding of fund operations and investment administration and its importance in the context of the sales processDetailed experience in either transitions or onboardingUnderstanding of Institutional ClientsUnderstanding a variety of fund structures and their operationA good understanding of variety of asset classesA good understanding of custody, transfer agency and fund administrationGood communication skills (both verbal and written) in order to deliver Schroders messages coherently and confidently to external partiesConfidence to question existing strategies, policies and procedures and input into any strategy discussionsIT skills, detailed wording knowledge of MS applications, Excel, Word and PowerPointConfidence to lead project calls and/or meetings with internal and external stakeholdersProblem solving and relationship management skillsThe knowledge, experience and qualifications thatll help
