Job description
Santander is seeking a Quant Data Analytics & Models Specialist in their Boadilla del Monte office. This role involves working on complex computational and data modeling tasks within their Corporate and Investment Banking division, focusing on improving distributed calculation engines and XVA metrics.
Primary responsibilities include improving and supporting a Distributed Calculation Engine for XVA metrics, evaluating engine performance, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating on data modeling, CI/CD automations, testing, and data validations in a high-performance computing environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of experience in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications, with strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and Python. Extensive knowledge of software architectures, distributed computing, and database technologies is required, along with proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
