Associate / VP Corporate Finance

Country: China

The role is within Corporate Finance / M&A Asia Pacific, with a primary focus on advising corporate clients, SOEs, POEs and financial sponsors on M&A and strategic transactions involving Mainland China and the broader Asia Pacific region

The successful candidate will be an integral member of deal teams, working closely with senior bankers, sector specialists and global product partners on origination, execution and client coverage activities. The role requires strong technical capabilities, sound commercial judgment and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border investment banking environment

Depending on experience and seniority, the individual will assume increasing responsibility for transaction leadership, client interaction, internal coordination and junior team management, while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution and analysis

The position is based in Hong Kong or Beijing and involves frequent interaction with Mainland China clients and international deal teams
