Rothschild & Co is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Regional Head of Procurement to join its Global Procurement team. Based in Zurich, this role will lead procurement activities across Switzerland, Germany, and Spain, with additional support to the wider EMEA region. You will work closely with Global Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and value-driven supplier management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee procurement and third-party risk management (TPRM) activities in the region
- Develop and maintain internal policies in line with regulatory requirements (including DORA and EBA/FINMA guidelines)
- Design and implement efficient, scalable procurement and vendor management processes
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier consolidation, and cost optimisation
- Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Oversee vendor onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing risk monitoring
- Maintain accurate third-party registers and ensure audit readiness
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance automation
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or third-party risk management, ideally in financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, EBA, FINMA)
- Proven track record in process improvement, sourcing, and contract negotiation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a matrix organisation
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to balance global standards with local requirements

- Degree in Business, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, or a related field
