Investor Relations at RCM


The Investor Relations& Communications team consists of twelve individuals; six of whom are aligned to Business Development, and six to Investor Services. The team are collectively responsible for attracting and retaining capital through developing and maintaining relationships with a global investor base. The team engage in regular dialogue with investors, providing insights into the firm's strategy, market outlook, and high level positioning, while also cultivating a pipeline of  potential investors. The team also ensure that the  firm’s strategy is well-articulated through branding efforts.

 

The Investor Services team aim to deliver a best-in class investor experience, serving as primary points of contact for current and prospective investors. Continuously innovating and leveraging technology, their responsibilities include supporting the prospecting process, overseeing  operational due diligence, managing the relationship with the fund administrator, monitoring the competitive landscape, addressing investor requests, and delivering reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

 

The Opportunity


This 18-month Graduate Programme will provide you with structured learning and development opportunities, unique insight into how institutional investors invest in RCM, and real responsibility from early on – closely supported by your team, manager, mentor, buddy and wider graduate cohort. The role will sit within the Investor Services Team, and will also closely support the Business Development team. You will gain exposure to the end-to-end investor lifecycle, and the systems, processes and vendors the Investor Services Team work with. Over time, you will gain exposure to investor interactions. The role will also give a deep insight into the wider workings of the fund. The Investor Relations team closely partner with departments across the firm, including Risk, Investment Control, Finance, and Legal & Compliance.

 

What Are We Looking For? 

 

  • Academic Excellence 
    • Proven academic success with A*/A grades at A-level or equivalent.
    • On track for a 1st or 2:1 Class degree or international equivalent in a STEM subject at a leading university.
  • Quantitative Skills 
    • Exceptional numerical and logical reasoning skills. 
  • Financial Acumen 
    • Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts. Desire to build a career in investor relations on the buy-side.
