The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.

We're looking for a Head of Controllership & Prudential Reporting in France. You'll manage the general ledger, implement robust financial controls, and develop scalable accounting automation.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading local controllership and prudential reporting
  • Supporting the setup of the French entity and building local reporting teams
  • Managing finances, overseeing financial control, tax, and prudential regulatory reporting
  • Overseeing the general ledger and analysing key transactions and account movements
  • Coordinating accounting and month-end close to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Leading annual and interim audits
  • Implementing accounting policy updates to align with changes in French GAAP, IFRS, and group standards
  • Defining and improving consolidation and financial control procedures
  • Ensuring accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports in line with latest requirements
  • Identifying synergies and automation opportunities across Finance, Accounting, and Reporting teams

What you'll need

  • 10+ years of experience in finance functions within banking or financial services
  • Fluency in English and French
  • To be a Chartered Accountant, or have expertise in accounting and financial control
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, banking regulations, regulatory frameworks, and tax regulations in France
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex accounting queries
  • A proven ability to interpret and communicate financial records to external stakeholders
  • A positive, solution-oriented mindset
  • A willingness to be hands-on, from manual tasks to leading larger projects
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills to plan, organise, and manage work effectively and within tight timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A university degree in accounting, management, or economics
