Join the Non-Financial Risk Tribe at RBI Group and help us expand the use of data, automation, and AI to improve internal processes and decision-making across the organization.

 

We are looking for a technically strong working student currently pursuing studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field at a technical university or university of applied sciences.

 

In this role, you will work on practical automation and analytics use cases, build small internal tools, support data workflows, and experiment with modern AI technologies in an enterprise environment. You should enjoy coding, solving real-world problems, working with data, and learning new technologies independently.

 

 

At a glance

 

  • Starting date: as soon as possible
  • Working hours: 20-25 h/week
  • Location: 1030 Vienna

 

 

Your role with us on the team

 

  • Support the development of automation scripts and small internal tools (e.g. Python-based solutions)
  • Assist in data preparation, transformation, and analysis
  • Contribute to data pipelines and data flows using modern platforms (e.g. Databricks)
  • Help build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Support integration of APIs and data sources
  • Leverage AI/LLM tools to improve efficiency (e.g. automation, documentation, data analysis)
  • Collaborate with team members on small automation and data use cases
  • Gain hands-on experience with modern data platforms and tools

 

 

Your core competencies

 

  • Ongoing studies in Computer Science or Data Science at a technical university
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong interest in data, automation and modern technologies
  • Basic programming skills (preferably Python)
  • Basic understanding of data handling and structured datasets (SQL is a plus)
  • Interest in data engineering concepts (ETL, APIs, data pipelines) and AI tools and automation solutions
  • Analytical thinking and structured working style
  • First experience with Power BI, Databricks, APIs, low-code tools or Git is a plus
