Full Job Description

In a world of complex business challenges, the Restructuring Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting financial visibility for clients (non-performing/stressed) by applying excellent analytical skills to aid recovery.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across industries, banking products, and geographies on various restructuring projects and portfolio data analysis.

 

Your role at RBI:

 

  • Assist in advising and supporting corporate financial distress situations through detailed financial due diligence, collaborating with stakeholders like consultants, lawyers, and financing partners. This includes:
    • Analyzing business models and financial standings to identify key issues.
    • Creating and maintaining financial models and developing risk mitigation strategies to rehabilitate clients and minimize bank losses.
    • Continuously assessing the banks risk and collateral positions in distressed loan situations.
  • Engage in monitoring, reporting, and supporting early risk prevention schemes.
  • Contribute to innovation in workout processes through digital transformation and data analysis, and participate in cross-functional projects.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments impacting NPEs and risk cost management, supporting workout-related stakeholder requests.

 

Your core competencies:

 

  • Education in business administration, economics, finance, law, or a related field, with lending experience in Corporate Banking and/or Risk/Workout.
  • Analytical skills, knowledge of corporate finance, and financial modeling abilities.
  • Interest in working with risk and financial data, and readiness to apply technical and IT skills for strategic developments.
  • Knowledge of NPE regulatory requirements and understanding of corporate finance and banking products.
  • Proactive attitude, ownership to resolve issues, and a thinking out of the box mindset.
  • English and German communication (C1 level), negotiation, and presentation skills.
