Background:
Imagine that you are part of a rapidly evolving & changing area, responsible for implementing and maintaining the Data Management framework across the South America Region (SA). The First Line Risk and Security (FLR) is responsible for designing risk management strategies across SA, working with second and third lines of responsibilities. Currently FLR covers Risk Management, Regulatory Projects, Privacy, Vendor Management, Data Management, CyberSecurity, BCM etc.


Data Management is growing in importance with the increasing amount of data being generated and the rising number of related compliance regulations. Our mission is to implement and sustain the Data Management Framework (DMF) across the organization, supporting business areas in adopting processes, monitoring adherence, and reporting progress. It’s defined as ‘the business function that develops and executes plans, policies, practices, and projects that acquire, control, protect, deliver and enhance the value of data’.


You and your job:
Within the Rabobank, data is valuable Asset, managed with the same care and professionalism as you would do with a Customer Product. The Data Management Analyst supports the SA Data Management Officer (SA DMO) and the Data Quality Board South America and working groups understanding, planning, implementing, and monitoring the initiatives to help the organisation comply with policies and standards accordingly.

Top responsibilities:
•Implement and maintain the Data Management Framework (policies, procedures, and controls) in line with global standards and DMBOK best practices.
•Support and monitor data governance initiatives across South America, ensuring compliance with global and local regulatory requirements.
•Track and report Data Management KPIs, ensuring adherence to policies, roles, and responsibilities.
•Act as a facilitator for business areas, providing guidance on roles, responsibilities, and processes to ensure engagement and execution.
•Foster strong partnerships with local and regional stakeholders, across the three lines of responsibility, and ensure, through leadership, engagement of all involved parties.
•Collaborate with other Data Management teams worldwide to exchange best practices and align initiatives.
•Participate in strategic projects to enable scalability and automation.
•Promote a data-driven culture, contributing to the unification of the data vision across the organization.

•Analytical thinking and ability to adapt processes to different contexts
•Flexibility to manage frequent changes and new regulatory demands
•Collaborating with others
•Pragmatic, organized

•Fluent in English (Writing and Speaking - daily interaction with global teams)
•Fluent in Spanish (Writing and Speaking) will be considered an advantage
