Your future role within QRT

  • A key member of the development team, building and enhancing key components for QRT
  • Building and supporting new quantitative trading framework software
  • Designing clean architecture and leveraging state of the art tools and components
  • Alerting: Define alert thresholds, reduce alert noise, and ensure actionable and meaningful alerts
  • Incident Response: Develop and optimize on-call processes and incident response playbooks. Participate in the on-call rotation
  • Service Reliability: Analyze system performance metrics and conduct root cause analysis for outages and degradations
  • Automation: Automate response to common issues and improve self-healing capabilities
  • Collaboration: Partner with development teams to instrument applications and ensure SLIs/SLOs/SLAs are well-defined and tracked

Your present skillset

  • 2-10 years’ professional experience
  • Advanced skills in one or several programming languages
  • Strong Python skills for automation and scripting, very high standards in code quality and good development practices
  • Knowledge of real-time systems, high performance computing and quantitative applications an advantage
  • Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS specifically is a plus)
  • Experience working in a high-availability, low-latency environment
