Join our global Commodities Operations team as an Operations Analyst in our London office, supporting trading activity across a broad range of soft and hard commodity derivatives in a fast-paced environment.

Your future role within QRT includes:

  • Providing day-to-day operational support to Commodities trading desks primarily in London, Paris, and Dubai
  • Supporting trading activity across the full commodities spectrum, not limited to Power and Gas
  • Booking and validating trades and managing the full trade lifecycle from execution through settlement
  • Performing daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and transactions and resolving breaks promptly
  • Supporting new product launches, and changes to operational coverage
  • Working closely with traders on business-as-usual activity and new initiatives in a time-sensitive environment
  • Liaising with fund administrators, exchanges, brokers, and internal teams
  • Contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives

Your present skillset: 

  • Relevant experience in Middle or Back Office Operations, Fund Administration, or Trade Support within commodities or a similar trading environment
  • Exposure to Futures and Options, with an understanding of the trade lifecycle
  • Familiarity with exchanges and clearing processes is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience working closely with trading desks and taking ownership of operational processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and automation
