JOB DESCRIPTION

They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. In deal recovery management at PwC, you will focus on helping clients navigate financial distress and recover from challenging business situations. You will be responsible for providing strategic advice and solutions to optimise recovery outcomes.

About the role:

As a senior manager, you will play a leading role in structuring, negotiating and executing debt transactions in the mid-market, acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs, CEOs, sponsors and other senior stakeholders. Utilising your network, you will also drive origination and new opportunities in the region. You will be expected to contribute to the coaching and development of junior team members.

What your days will look like:

  • Act as the day-to-day lead on client engagements, leading the end-to-end execution of a full financing transaction.

  • Contribute to the planning and deal structuring of transactions and to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting origination effort.

  • Producing and review transaction marketing materials and financial models.

  • Preparing and negotiating term sheets and review of the full loan agreement.

The role is for you if:

  • You have a strong track record of executing transactions within the mid market, with at least significant experience in debt advisory and/or banking

  • Have a strong understanding of debt markets, private credit, and corporate financing structures with a commercial mindset and ability to think strategically and negotiate effectively.

  • Have excellent financial modelling and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, suitable for senior stakeholders.

  • The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, lenders, and to successfully manage teams.
