Job Title: New World, New Skills work experience programme 

Location: Leeds(Please ensure this is your closest office before applying) 

Programme Dates: 3 August 2026 to 6 August 2026 

Mode: Face-to-face attendance required 

Pay: Min £12.67 an hour 

 

Programme Overview: 
Join PwC's New World, New Skills work experience programme for an immersive four-day experience designed to equip you with valuable insights into the professional world.  

 

What you’ll do 

During this programme, you'll have the opportunity to: 

  • Build your network: Engage with a variety of professionals and learn about their career paths, as well as their day to day jobs, providing an invaluable insight into life at PwC. 

  • Learn about PwC: Discover the different lines of service we offer and understand how PwC operates as a professional services firm. 

  • Explore student opportunities: Get detailed information about the various student opportunities available at PwC. 

  • Collaborative projects: Participate in team-based activities focused on solving real-world business scenarios. 
     

 

What you’ll need 

Eligibility Criteria: 
To qualify for the programme, applicants must: 

  • Be currently in Year 12 (England and Wales), Year 13 (Northern Ireland), or S5 (Scotland). 

  • Attend a state school or college. 

  • Be on course for a 96 UCAS tariff from your top three A-Levels or equivalent qualifications (excluding General Studies and the EPQ). 

  • Meet at least one of the following social mobility criteria: 

  • Have been eligible for free school meals within the last six years. 

  • The occupation of the main household earner when you were aged 14 categorises you as coming from a lower socio-economic background (according to the Social Mobility Commission guidance here)

Your eligibility will be assessed based on your responses in the Equal Opportunities form and your overall application. The criteria focus on your school type, free school meal eligibility and parental occupation, in line with best practices advised by Access Accountancy.
