The Piper Sandler healthcare investment banking team is one of the fastest growing and most active teams in the sector, with over 140 professionals globally. The team is a leading M&A advisor within the sector, having completed 170+ healthcare M&A transactions over the last five years with an aggregated value of over $60 billion.

We are currently looking for an analyst to join our growing healthcare team in London.

Our analysts work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients business through involvement in all facets of investment banking activities including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, equity and debt offerings, and strategic advisory work. On a day-to-day basis our analysts:

  • Create and maintain financial models
  • Assist in the preparation of client materials
  • Gather and synthesise quantitative and qualitative data
  • Create and maintain industry-specific business development materials
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research
  • Interact with senior stakeholders and clients

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent (2:1 or above)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years investment banking/corporate finance experience
  • Strong modelling skillset (DCF, LBO, Accretion/Dilution)
  • Deep understanding of financial statements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships and rapport
  • Motivated, team player with a desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
  • Positive work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential
