Maintaining the group’s various databases
Acting as the day-to-day point of contact with clients on live situations
Coordinating with external parties on live situations (e.g., lawyers and proxy solicitors)
Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience in a classic investment banking coverage role
Ideally some experience in a market-facing role (private-side capital raising or public-side investing)
Ideally some experience of working on a live shareholder activism situation
A solid understanding of company valuation concepts (comparable multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.)
A keen interest in global markets and macroeconomic environment
A highly organized and analytical mind
The ability to synthesize large amounts of data
Exceptional project management skills with ability to prioritize competing projects and deadlines
Intellectual curiosity and creativity, with a demonstrated interest in learning about M&A
