WHAT YOULL DO:
As a data scientist in our options market making team, you will play a key role in improving our trading strategies through rigorous data-driven analysis. Youll take a scientific approach to understanding how our systems perform in live marketsdeveloping hypotheses, building experiments, and using advanced analytics to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Youll work with large-scale production trading data to identify patterns, test ideas, and evaluate strategic changes. This may include leveraging statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and other quantitative methods to better understand market dynamics and strategy behavior.
Youll collaborate closely with traders and engineers, but your work will be rooted in independent thinking, analytical rigor, and a strong focus on real-world impact.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Strong research skills with a scientific mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems with data.
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis and prototyping; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
  • Experience applying machine learning or statistical modeling techniques to complex systems or noisy data.
  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator who can challenge ideas constructively, explain reasoning clearly, and collaborate across teams.
  • Prior experience in trading or financial markets is a plus, but not required.
