About our team
Your day to day team - Commercial Insights
You will join an agile team in Commercial Insights. Commercial insights is a part of Nordeas Business Banking organization. Teams mission is to bridge business and data by creating meaningful insights that help organization better understand and serve customer portfolios. Here you will work closely with 7 skilled professionals located to Denmark and Poland. You will be direct involved in developing advisory-facing solutions.
Your Technical Base - CRM & Analytics Team in Corporate Technology
Here is your formal line organization. You will have access to a supportive technical community where you will spar with experienced colleagues, learn from existing best practices and contribute your own ideas to continuously evolve our engineering craft. This combination gives you the best of both worlds: hands-on work for business deliveries and a solid technical foundation.
What you'll be doing:
As the IT Developer in Commercial Insights, you will play an important role in shaping the daily work of Business Banking advisors by building and improving tools that turn data into insights.
This role will be based in Helsinki.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and enhance features in customer insights tools using your backend/frontend skills
- Source, transform, store and visualize data to create meaningful business insights
- Automate data pipelines using frameworks like Airflow and DBT
- Design, develop and deploy AI-powered features that directly impact frontline
- Support continuous adoption of Nordea guideline and best practice within the Agile team
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve development efficiencies
Who you are

Your background and skills include:
- Strong programming skills in Python experience
- Hands-on experience with database and API services
- Experience of packing and deploying containerized applications, for example Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiar with ETL/ELT processes
It would be ideal if you also have:
- Concrete knowledge of DBT and Snowflake
- Interest in applied AI or machine learning
- Front-end experience
