Reporting to: Head of Client Relationship Management & Operations

Department Overview:

Nomura Asset Management (NAM) is headquartered in Tokyo but NAM UK is the largest overseas office. The Risk function provides advice and information to multiple business teams in the UK and several of the Sales and Marketing functions in other International offices.

 

The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated team player with several years experience in a similar role, not necessarily from marketing, client services or financial services. The candidate must be able to prioritise individual and team work loads and deliver high quality, accurate work to meet standards required by internal and external parties.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel & event/roadshow planning and booking
  • Collation and processing of traveller expenses
  • Team coordination and administration – to include organising and booking meetings, circulating notes, managing internal administrative processes and other ad-hoc requirements such as archiving, filing, courier bookings
  • Dealing with visitors and guests
  • Co-ordinating and supporting the visits of key staff from other offices 
  • Co-ordination between offices within the EMEA region
  • Assisting in preparing presentation material –checking, formatting, printing, distribution
  • General office support / admin activities

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Attention to detail essential with excellent organisational ability
  • Excellent people/communication skills 
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Strong with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
