Job Description
Natixis' Mexico Representative Office is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Relationship Manager to act as a key partner to our Senior Country Manager. This pivotal role will drive business growth by focusing on client acquisition, identifying primary clients and transaction targets, and fostering strong relationships within Mexico. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Country Manager, the LatAm Platform, and our New York-based business lines to develop and implement strategic goals that align with the Bank's overarching objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Senior Country Manager in identifying, establishing, developing, and maintaining strategic client relationships with top-tier, global clients, and sponsors in Mexico.
Spearhead engagement with Corporate clients, actively marketing a diverse range of Natixis products, including Global Markets, DCM, syndications, corporate and project finance, trade finance, and more.
Contribute to the proactive monitoring of the client portfolio through strategic client dialogue, identifying visible transactions and mandates, and driving cross-sell opportunities with key clients.
Identify client financial needs and expertly coordinate with Natixis' dedicated teams to deliver optimal financial solutions.
Formulate and coordinate strategies with business lines, contributing significantly to strategic planning and operational development.
Collaborate with business lines and management for the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of budgets.
Originate and support New York-based product lines in the structuring and execution of transactions within Mexico.
Liaise effectively with New York's structuring and legal teams to facilitate transaction execution.
Coordinate and follow up on deal development with Operations and the New York LatAm Platform.
Ensure the proper onboarding and periodic review process for all client Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Produce comprehensive Credit Applications, Company & Industry Analyses for the client base, covering facility renewals and new transactions.
Maintain high data quality within the Bank's systems to support the Credit Process, KYC, and monthly results reporting.
Prepare and submit a weekly pipeline report within the CRM, detailing identified and pitched opportunities.
Assist the Senior Country Manager in ensuring the Representative Office remains compliant with local authorities' requirements and conditions, including timely submission of regulatory reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proven track record of strong relationship management skills and experience with corporate clients.
Demonstrated high-quality access to corporate clients in Mexico.
A proactive and positive attitude with a strong aptitude for learning and integrating into a dynamic team.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory. French language skills are a significant advantage.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in financial structuring, cash flow modeling, negotiation, due diligence, credit analysis, and project documentation.
Computer Proficiency: Advanced skills in software applications including Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to present to clients and convey information clearly and comprehensively.
Teamwork: Ability to contribute effectively to collective organizational goals and to collaboratively solve problems and conflicts.
Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform problem analysis, gather data, identify solutions, exercise sound judgment, and make decisive actions.
Proven ability to perform effectively under time pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
