Job Description
You join the compliance team within the Global Markets Surveillance unit, in Paris.
On a daily basis, your mission is to:
- Handle escalation and closure of market surveillance alerts, related to potential market abuse in connection with the monitoring team in Porto and other regional experts;
- Ensure that monitoring alerts are processed correctly and on time;
- Contribute to the drafting of suspicious transaction reports sent to the regulator;
- Contribute to the response to regulators' requests;
- Contribute to the configuration of the monitoring system;
- Participate in the evolution of surveillance systems (contribute to the implementation of tools, create or improve ad-hoc scenarios for monitoring market abuse);
- Identify areas for improvement in the monitoring system and participate in their implementation in partnership with the 1eraline of defense, the Compliance Advisory and the IT team;
- Adapt monitoring processes to new regulatory provisions;
- Participate in testing new features or bug fixes implemented by the IT team.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education in finance, law or economics, you have at least 5 years of experience in the field of market abuse prevention and/or control and risk management.
You master:
Regulation of market abuse;
Financial instruments and products (different asset classes);
Market activities and market finance;
Monitoring systems (Actimize, Smarts, Trading Hub, etc.) and alerts from such systems;
Ideally, Python, VBA and data visualization tools.
You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen, you are:
Endowed with good analytical and synthesis capacity;
Rigorous and proactive;
Motivated by teamwork.
You master English with a C1-C2 level.
