Job Description

You will join the Coverage team, which is looking for a Financial Analyst for a 1-year work-study program starting in September 2026.

The Coverage department is Natixis' commercial arm, managing global relationships with Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients and providing them with solutions across the entire spectrum of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) services (M&A, Financings, Global Market, Investment Banking, Green, Portfolio Management, Asset & Wealth Management, Payments, etc.). It is organized in France and internationally around several poles responding to the needs of our Institutional and SSA clients.

Coverage BIPS (Banks, & International Public Sector) and Coverage Insurance are part of the Coverage Directorate within Natixis CIB. They bring together a team of approximately 50 people located in Paris and across Natixis' various international platforms.

In collaboration with your mentor, your main tasks will include:

• Conducting sector and market studies, quantitative studies, financial and strategic analyses;
• Assessing credit risks and writing credit reports;
• Carrying out regulatory monitoring (Basel III and Solvency II), budget tracking, and client profitability monitoring;
• Creating Pitch Books, in close collaboration with all Natixis departments and Senior Bankers within Coverage;
• Participating in recurring production and administration of various dashboards and reports, within the set deadlines;
• Participating in the team's operational tasks;
• Performing modeling (in-depth analysis of certain counterparties, potential participation in certain transactions involving the FIG sector);
• Participating in the design and implementation of synthetic indicators and reports via the CRM NAT1;
• Driving the automation on NAT1 and the reliability of quantitative data production processes: query design, review, and improvement of existing elements.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at Master's level (BAC+5), you are pursuing a degree with a specialization in the banking and/or insurance sectors. You possess general knowledge of CIB businesses. You have advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases. You are autonomous, demonstrate discretion, and have a strong ability to propose solutions. You show capacity to manage multiple projects in parallel, to see tasks through to completion by not hesitating to delve deeply and fully invest yourself. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a very good listener. And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
