Job Description


POSITION AND MISSIONS

You are joining our Structured Commodity Financing department in the Global Banking division, which is looking for a Commodity Structured Finance Analyst, for an internship of 6 months from July 2026. 

The team serves a wide range of global commodity exporters, commodity traders and integrated producers by offering a broad range of products including pre-export finance, prepayment and other structured finance. 

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be: 

Prepare internal credit notes for new transactions (due diligence, credit analysis, financial modeling); 

Participate in the preparation of pitches and other business proposals;

Assist team members in all phases of origination, structuring, and execution of transactions;

Ensure the transition of transactions with the team in charge of portfolio management. 

You will evolve within a dynamic team with a very selective approach to responsible financing, in close liaison with the ESR teams and the Green & Sustainable Hub. 

In this internship, you will interact with many departments of the Bank: Country and Credit Risk, Mining Engineer, Environmental & Societal Risk, Syndication, Legal, Compliance, etc.
