Your Team Responsibilities

The Private Capital Solutions Data Intern internship role is associated with the MSCI Private Capital Solutions Data team. The internship role includes working as part of a growing local team of private assets data analysts who provide institutional investors and asset owners with information and transparency into portfolio composition and analysis of exposure and risk

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of the sourcing of documents and data necessary for operational processes across the teams
  • Detailed review and analysis of private capital partnership financial statements to compile and maintain specific investment details according to fund and client methodologies used across different data teams
  • Observe and contribute to client feedback handling, learning how requests and challenges are addressed in day-to-day operations
  • Participate in and deliver on assigned data quality and clean-up projects, as per communicated milestone dates
  • Meet personal and team deadlines through collaboration with local and international team members

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Strong interest in finance, operations, or data-driven roles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable learning new systems, tools, and processes
  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in finance or economics from 6th semester or beyond
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week for the duration of the 6-month internship
  • Proficiency with MS Excel (required); knowledge of VBA or Python is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with a fluency in English is a requirement
