Corporate Treasury Capital Markets, EMEA Funding - VP


We're seeking someone to join the Treasury Capital Markets team as a Vice President in Treasury to support the management of the Firm's European legal entities from a funding perspective. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President level position within Corporate Treasury.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
  • Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment
  • Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
  • Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
  • Support the design and day-to-day implementation of a diverse and stable debt and deposit offering, related hedging strategies and funding pricing for the Firm's EMEA Entities
  • Support funding planning across the EMEA entities' unsecured funding and deposit channels
  • Execute the funding strategy in EMEA to support funding, liquidity and balance sheet objectives
  • Analyse and review new funding products, vendors and counterparties by collaborating with Wealth Management, ISG, Controllers, Risk, Legal, Tech and others
  • Manage and execute ad hoc requests/inquiries from senior management and aid in decision making process
  • Collaborate with the tech development team and stakeholders to deliver software solutions used to manage unsecured funding
  • Partner closely with the Global TCM teams and business units on deposit and other funding initiatives
  • Oversee the team's risks and controls and associated documentation (e.g., policies & procedures)
  • Create and deliver effective presentations for senior management forums and to regulators
  • Manage, attract, develop and retain talent for team within Finance while creating an inclusive environment; translate Firmwide goals into actionable goals for department/function

What you'll bring:

  • Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
  • Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
  • Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
  • Experience of managing a team of resources
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with teams across both local offices and globally
  • Proficient analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

We're seeking someone to join the Treasury Capital Markets team as a Vice President in Treasury to support the management of the Firm's European legal entities from a funding perspective. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President level position within Corporate Treasury.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
