Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC is seeking a Vice President, Business Analysis in Alpharetta, Georgia to specify requirements and work on the software platform, with a focus on technical requirements from end-user experience perspective. Define, document and track the software requirements across multiple teams seamlessly with minimal supervision. Work with the Scrum Master, Product Owners, Project Managers, Software Developers and data analysts. Responsible for software issue analysis and resolution and the execution of projects through software development lifecycle process. Work with software systems that deal with digital brokerage accounts, Stock plans, Trading, settlements, payments, Corporate Actions,

Confirms, Statements and Tax Forms. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 days per week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related degree.

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Consultant, Business Analyst, Test lead, or related role.

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Java;
  • J2EE;
  • Spring MVC;
  • JSP;
  • ReactJS;
  • IBM DB2;
  • Oracle;
  • Software Quality Assurance;
  • JIRA;
  • XML;
  • Microsoft Office;
  • FIX;
  • Data Migration and Integration;
  • Vendor management;
  • Technical documentation;
  • Backlog management; and
  • Requirements analysis.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $174,400 and $174,400 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
