Were seeking someone to join our team as a Talent & Diversity Advisor to support the development, execution, and delivery of the various talent and diversity programs for all Japan businesses and across Asia for the Technology division.

In the Human Capital Management division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is a Vice President level position and reports into the Asia ex India Head of Talent and Diversity Advisory and Japan Head of Human Resources. Working within our existing Talent and Diversity framework, you will work with and influence key stakeholders including but not limited to Human Resources colleagues across the globe, Division Heads, and external partners.

What youll do in the role:

  • Liaise with global and regional teams to implement global and regional business units specific and firm wide learning and development initiatives for all Japan businesses and across Asia for the Technology division.

  • Work closely with the regional and global team to face internal clients and facilitate talent and diversity related discussions ranging from need analysis to design/ delivery of talent and diversity solutions that is well aligned within global framework.

  • Support discussions with, and manage implementation for, programs for the respective business unit.

  • Manage training vendors be involved in the process of identifying and assessing external vendors for programs.

  • Deliver training programs and facilitate train the trainer programs to enable business units to deliver internal sessions.

  • Keep up to date with innovative talent and diversity practices as well as relevant policy and regulatory changes that impact the region.

  • Interest in emerging trends such as AIdriven learning, future skills and workforce transformation, and their application in a highly regulated, global environment.

What youll bring to the role:

  • 8+ years working in Talent and Diversity role (preferably MNCs)

  • Good understanding of Talent and Diversity related practices and processes.

  • Native Japanese & Business level English proficiency. Facilitation experience would be an advantage.

  • Critical to the role is having a consultant mindset, strong partnership and relationship building skills and experience interacting with, advising and influencing HR, senior line leadership and employees at all levels.

  • A collaborative approach and an ability to get things done by working closely with others in a complex, fast-paced and highly matrixed environment.

  • Has the ability to get things done, can build an effective network to navigate the organization and will see projects and initiatives through to the end.

  • Proven ability to build solid relationships with global, regional and local stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, and translate insights into impactful, commercial recommendations.
