We're seeking someone to join our Credit Risk - Data Infrastructure team as a Senior Data Engineering Specialist in Risk Tech to plan, design and contribute towards database development (Data Warehousing, ETL etc.) and engineering activities.

This is a Lead Data & Analytics Engineering position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, and optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

What you’ll do in the role:
Support infrastructure related upgrades involving database and other environments.
Develop and support of Data Ingestion Framework (using Spark, Python Scripting, Databricks, Snowpipe etc.)
Implement DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code-utilizing tools like Git
What you’ll bring to the role:
7+ years of working experience in Data Warehousing
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (i.e., Data modelling, data transformations)
Strong Skills in Relational Databases and writing complex SQL
Good programming skills with any programming language (Python preferred)
Good understanding of Unix shell scripting
Knowledge about DevOps implementation in Data space
Hands on experience with Spark, Snowflake and/or Databricks
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
