Full Job Description

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Firmwide Operations division to oversee the Risk and control operations of core reconciliations. The specialist accomplishes this through internal risk metric reporting, incident management, InfoSec/system entitlement program and department/internal reviews of testing & audits.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate position within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Ensure all reconciliation processes are supported by documented, current, and compliant procedures

  • Drive improvements in control design and execution efficiency

  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Finance, Operations) and global stakeholders

  • Participate in risk forums / governance meetings and present issue summaries

  • Communicate key developments, exceptions, and risks proactively to management

  • Provide structured updates on BAU performance and project deliverables

  • Identify automation and process enhancement opportunities within reconciliations

  • Support transformation initiatives (e.g., system migrations, control standardization)

  • Contribute to improving operating models, efficiency, and scalability of reconciliation processes

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, Strong Excel skills inclusive of large data management, Pivots and formulas such as VLOOKUP's

  • High attention to detail with focus on accuracy and control discipline. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong time management and ability to work in high-pressure environments. Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability for outcomes

  • Understanding of operational risk and control frameworks. Ability to identify, escalate, and remediate control gaps

  • Experience in exception management, root cause analysis, and issue tracking. Focus on governance, process discipline, and regulatory compliance

  • Knowledge of financial products (Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities). Familiarity with reconciliation platforms / operational systems

  • Awareness of regulatory environments impacting client assets and reconciliations

  • Strong adherence to control framework and zero control breaches. Improved turnaround time for exception resolution

  • Enhanced quality and consistency of vendor deliverables Successful delivery of control enhancements and automation initiatives
