Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

The Global IED RFP/RFI team contributes to the success of sales and associated revenue generation through responding to our clients' Requests for Proposal ("RFP") or Requests for Information ("RFI"). The team manages the entire process: providing consistently high-quality responses and act as a single point of coordination across internal functions and groups. The team manages questionnaires that are related to equity products coming from prospective/existing institutional clients and supports the Cash/MSET COO as well by providing business support to the COO function.

The expected working hours will be 11:00 am (local time) - 8:00 pm (local time)

The key elements of the role are –

  • Liaising with regional stakeholders to understand specific client requirements.
  • Providing high quality responses that are relevant to the requirements and instructions specified by the client.
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • Assessing the RFP/RFI request, communicating progress and challenges with key stakeholders, and implementing quality checks before submitting the final document.
  • Developing a global mindset and establishing good working relationships across multiple teams and locations.
  • Contribute to update our database with all the responses shared: updating existing/new response created, documents shared to support response and other firm wide related updates.
  • Continue to enhance own knowledge on the products and services we offer to our clients.
  • Help manage and co-ordinate the client selection committee process for the EMEA MSET & HT desks across Cash and Listed Derivatives.

Skills required (essential)

Skill set required:

We are looking for a confident and outgoing person, who has exceptional attention to detail and is proactive in taking initiative.

  • Graduate with 1 - 3 years of experience. MBA would be advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple requests under tight, short-term deadlines while meeting client requirements.
  • Exposure/knowledge of different equity products is desirable.
  • Excellent written & spoken English; Excellent business writing skills
  • Excellent telephone skills (regular phone contact with team required)
  • Knowledge and extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills
