The Assistant Vice President Product Manager for Global Equity Compensation and Workplace Wealth Initiatives will shape and deliver digital experiences across web and mobile for Morgan Stanley at Work clients and their employees globally. This role blends product discovery, execution excellence, and strong risk and control partnership to deliver a best-in-class workplace wealth journey.

Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of ten sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow, Digital Trading & Investing, Generative AI, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution, WM Platforms Risk, and the Chief Operating Office.

What youll do in the role:

  • Execute the Global Equity Compensation and Workplace Wealth digital strategy through delivery of online and mobile customer experience enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to plan and deliver initiatives aligned to the long-term global Workplace Wealth strategy.
  • Define and implement user experiences across digital platforms, with an emphasis on global equity compensation workflows.
  • Communicate changes, coordinate deliverables, and track progress across a diverse set of internal stakeholders.
  • Write clear product requirements (PRDs, epics, and user stories) including business rules, acceptance criteria, and edge cases to integrate equity compensation experiences.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholder groups (product, user experience, technology, operations) to design and deliver new products, features, and enhancements.
  • Identify delivery dependencies and risks. Keep partner teams informed of milestones, progress, and trade-offs.
  • Contribute to strategic, executive-ready materials that support decision-making with clear roadmaps, value-based metrics, risks, and investment needs.
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of risk controls, in partnership with control stakeholders, consistent with a regulated environment (including FINRA/SEC-aligned expectations as applicable).
  • Define and track success metrics; support ongoing and ad-hoc reporting requests and post-launch usage metrics.
  • Apply AI based technology to improve the product, user support, and the overall client/participant experience.


Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a product owner/manager/analyst capacity or related product role.
  • Familiarity with technology delivery lifecycles (Agile and/or Waterfall).
  • Experience with SQL, AI tools and data analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across large organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize input from end users and stakeholders and use it to influence prioritization and solution design.
  • Strong written communication and technical writing skills (requirements, user stories, and business rules).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and senior management presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop clear and concise business rules.
  • Understanding of the corporate stock plan business and operating paradigms, with a focus on global equity compensation, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in complex financial domains.
