Position Summary

The Investment Product Strategy team drives key strategic initiatives that shape the direction and growth of the firm’s investment product platform. This role supports projects across the alternative investments, traditional investments, and insured solutions businesses with a primary focus on alternatives. The team works to identify opportunities, enhance and track business performance, and support product innovation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with the product development team, analytics and data partners, and external asset managers.

Qualifications

  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in alternatives, product strategy, product development, investment management, consulting, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deliverables at once
  • Strong communication skills

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $115,000 per year for the Associate level and between $85,000 and $135,000 for the AVP level at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
