Position Summary
Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Consulting Solutions (ICS) business provides consulting services and solutions to institutional investors, including corporations, foundations, endowments, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, insurer, and Taft-Hartley funds. We work directly with Financial Advisors/Consultants and other key partners across the Firm to drive asset growth. As part of the ICS Communications team, the Communications Coordinator will play an important role in keeping colleagues informed and supporting their efforts to win, expand and retain business.

Responsibilities Include

  • Planning and drafting internal communications and campaigns for a wide variety of company announcements, content initiatives, and operational updates
  • Helping to coordinate and publicize key internal calls and meetings, arranging external speakers as needed, and facilitating Zoom and Teams events
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with leaders and internal partners and collaborating to ensure that messaging is aligned with business objectives
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the communications calendar and various intranet sites
  • Identifying content to highlight for external email marketing campaigns and partnering with business development and creative teams for execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills; experience in financial services a plus
  • Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Results-driven and passionate about contributing to the firm’s growth
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
