We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Financial Controller to work in our Finance Division.


In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources.

The Financial Planning and Analysis department handles the Morgan Stanley Infrastructure expense as well as the planning and forecasting of revenues for the firm globally, while delivering on CCAR (stress-test) modeling and analysis. It supports the company’s business decisions by both performing analysis on the future impacts of past events and predicting the impact of potential decisions.

What you’ll do in the role

  • Managing the firm's global structure including legal entities, accounts, cost centers

  • Facilitating account and cost center creations and modifications and roll-up changes

  • Collecting, processing and tracking change requests

  • Validating business drivers behind request to ensure those are correctly captured

  • Collaborating with technology teams regarding production issues and system enhancements

  • Generating monthly hierarchy extracts and custom reports and allocating to various finance teams


What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field and 2-3 years of experience

  • Strong communication and PC skills (Microsoft Excel)

  • Ability to interact cross regions, to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities

  • Solid analytical skills

  • Attention to details

  • Self-motivated personality with ability to work as an effective team member
