What youll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, QA Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to review requirement specifications, identify gaps, determine software testability and testing implications. Identify and create test scenarios, design and develop test scripts in Quality Center and Jira. Prepare test plan and test scripts to test each software component and requirement. Participate in the test case Peer Review process. Setup test conditions prior to script execution. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What youll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related occupation. The employer will accept a 3 or 4 year bachelors degree

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Specialist, Associate Specialist, Technical Lead, or a related technical occupation

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Programming languages including:
    • Java;
    • Python;
  • Front-End Automation Tools including:
    • Selenium;
    • Playwright;
  • Performance Testing Tools including:
    • JMeter;
    • K6;
  • AppDynamics;
  • Databases including:
    • Oracle;
    • DB2;
  • API Testing including:
    • Postman;
    • Rest Assured;
  • Release and deployment cycles using Jenkins;
  • Testing Types including:
    • Manual front-end testing;
    • Functional;
    • Regression;
    • Integration testing of web and client-server applications;
  • Testing applications and concepts;
  • Agile/Scrum methodology;
  • JIRA;
  • Stock plan domain knowledge.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $138,000 and $138,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
