Description:

We are embarking on a multi-year growth plan to deepen existing client engagement across all channels while expanding our banking product reach.

We are seeking a talented and motivated digital product manager to join the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Digital Client Experience & Platforms team. This team defines and drives the online and mobile experiences for E*TRADE and Morgan Stanley clients. As a key part of the team, the Digital Delivery Product Manager (AVP) role, you will manage the end-to-end client experience for paperless document delivery and notifications, orchestrating across multiple technology platforms to create a seamless paperless banking experience while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
The applicant should bring a strong product management skillset, customer obsession, awareness of the competitive landscape, and the ability to drive improvements and change using through both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience working with Agile development methodologies is preferred. Partnership and collaboration with a variety of product groups across Morgan Stanley will be key to success.
Responsibilities:
- Support a Senior Product Manager and Fleet with definition and prioritization of product roadmap, release planning, development and communication and documentation of business requirements
- Build and maintain prioritized product backlog - identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints
- Work with Senior Product Manager to define and draft requirements in Jira (Agile) for key strategic programs and tactical projects
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements and drive consensus with the squad and program stakeholders
- Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of key product releases
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology, UX, risk, cyber & fraud, communications, legal & compliance to elicit requirements
- Prepare presentations and status updates and conduct product demos for fleet and senior leadership
- Gather, organize and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements and new features
- Identify and elaborate on critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes that align with the product vision/goals and address critical user and control needs
- Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information/interaction architecture, user flows, wireframes and visual design comps
- Team up with Program Management Office / Business Transformation to effectively organize and plan product releases
- Research and close issue remediation (defects, production issues, etc.), product testing and execution
- Organize the product backlog and align the roadmap with other teams
- Create and circulate status reports and release updates Qualifications/Skills desired:

- 5 years of experience as a software or digital product manager, business analyst or equivalent with experience working within an agile/scrum development process
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Knowledge or exposure to financial services, healthcare or retail commerce preferred
- Demonstrated track record of delivering new innovative fintech, digital products, solutions, or applications preferred
- Proficient at defining, analyzing, documenting, and communicating product and software requirements in an agile software development setting
- Keen intellect - ability to gather, analyze and synthesize a significant amount of information, and turn it into clear and actionable product requirements
- Self-starter with a drive and demonstrated ability to identify and solve critical problems and achieve stretch goals
- Naturally curious, analytical and data-driven - demonstrated track record of utilizing data to measure performance, identify opportunities, and make successful decisions
- Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiences
- Understanding and knowledge of web and mobile technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact and influence a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders
- Efficient at managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently under deadline constraints

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
