Full Job Description
The Digital Assets Vendor and Fiduciary Oversight Associate is a frontline operations professional responsible for daily operations, vendor coordination, and governance for digital asset workflows. The role safeguards client experience and firm risk by executing welldefined procedures, maintaining strong controls, and coordinating across WM Operations, Client Service, and our vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight & Exception Management
- Oversee daily digital assets oversight support activities, including lifecycle management, reconciliations, and exception resolution.
- Maintain accurate booking and audit trails in line with WM Operations standards.
Asset Movement & Safekeeping Oversight
- Perform controls and validations related to deposits, withdrawals, wallet segregation, blockchain monitoring and key management
- Perform daily reconciliations to ensure proper safekeeping and custody of Assets, Wallets and client recordkeeping
Client Service & Escalations
- Manage client service cases escalated ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation.
- Act as liaison with internal teams and vendor partners for complex inquiries and operational issues.
- Collaborate with WM Operations, Client Service, Risk, Technology, and Finance teams; serve as operational point of contact for vendor interactions.
Risk & Control Governance
- Adhere to documented procedures and control frameworks; escalate incidents and partner with Risk/Compliance on governance requirements.
- Support business continuity activities and confirm operational readiness during BCP events.
Preferred
- Exposure to blockchain/onchain transactions, custody/wallet concepts, and crypto data structures.
- Experience with case management; knowledge of Power BI/Alteryx for process insight/automation (a plus).
- Background in Operations disciplines (e.g., reconciliations, money movement, SLA monitoring, metrics reporting, and outage support).
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree (Finance, Business, Operations, or related) or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years in financial operations or reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills with a controls mindset; demonstrated ability to investigate breaks and resolve exceptions under time pressure.
- Clear written/verbal communication; comfort engaging crossfunctional teams and documenting outcomes.
- Proficiency in Excel and case/ticketing tools; familiarity with vendor portals and operational reporting.
