Key Responsibilities:

Functional Business Analysis:

  • Act as liaison between Business and IT for requirements.
  • Create clear, concise and complete functional specifications & requirements within an Agile framework.
  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements.
  • Provide training support for the Business
  • Participate in presentations for end users. Provide demos as needed.
  • Acquire knowledge of platforms, applications, and peripheral systems to become a subject matter expert in these areas.

Testing:

  • Define and validate primary use cases to ensure they meet business needs and user expectations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements End to End, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Document functional specifications and business rules for stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios with a focus on the end-user experience, conducting functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Create and maintain test accounts; support production checkouts and be flexible with working hours, including coordination with teams in other regions and during release weekends.
  • Work effectively in an Agile Squad with stakeholders from Technology and Platforms teams; liaise with the Technology QA Team to ensure efficient coverage.
  • Assist in refining acceptance criteria to ensure completeness and comprehensiveness.

Status Reporting and Ceremony Participation:

  • Participate in and contribute to Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and refinement sessions.
  • Provide testing status updates to Squad, PO and UAT Leads, escalate risks and issues, and manage defects.

Supporting and Planning:

  • Create test plans, test cases, and scripts; conduct testing of negative scenarios to ensure systems meet standards and end-user requirements.
  • Serve as a proxy to Product Owners to support testing, including the review, prioritization, and management of defects.
  • Proactively reflect on work accomplished, identify current and potential blockers, and plan next steps.
  • Create user stories in Jira based on conveyed business requirements. Conduct grooming sessions as needed

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • BS/BA degree
  • Professional experience in the financial services industry, Wealth Management, or FinTech.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in UAT and/or as a Business Analyst, preferably in Wealth Management, Financial Services, Banking or Technology organizations.
  • Minimum 3 years Salesforce experience
  • Strong knowledge of solution development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, SDLC)
  • A technical understanding of system integrations, API, .net, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately
  • Ability to represent and document business processes, interaction flows, data flow processes, use cases, test cases, business requirements, user stories, etc.
  • Strong presentation skills, including ability to create polished PowerPoint presentations for various levels of management
  • Independent self-starter who can manage multiple parallel work streams and initiatives to aggressive deadlines
  • Detailed, organized, and results-oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to effectively manage through change
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SQL scripting.
  • Proficiency in test script automation.
