Skills and Competencies

  • Senior-level expertise in Record-to-Report accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, allocations, eliminations, and consolidated close across multi-entity environments
  • Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS with strong accounting judgment to resolve complex issues
  • Proven experience leading and developing accounting managers and teams with a strong performance and control mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to govern period-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness
  • Strong analytical and variance analysis skills, with the ability to identify risks and provide insights to senior stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with FP&A, Tax, Audit, and finance stakeholders to explain results and resolve complex matters
  • High proficiency with SAP, BlackLine, and consolidation platforms
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, with awareness of AI risk management and responsible use

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred; Masters degree a plus

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Accounting leads global Record-to-Report activities to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting with strong governance and people leadership.

  • Provide strategic oversight of complex accounting activities, including journal entries, allocations, eliminations, and consolidations
  • Govern enterprise period-end close processes, ensuring high-quality financial results through oversight of accruals, reconciliations, and adjustments
  • Lead severance, restructuring, and consolidated variance analysis in partnership with FP&A, supporting forecasting and escalation of material risks
  • Oversee payroll, debt, and derivatives accounting, approving key judgments and resolving complex issues
  • Ensure integrity of consolidated results through senior-level review of eliminations, group adjustments, and management reporting
  • Review and approve recurring and lower-risk accounting memoranda, ensuring consistent application of accounting guidance
  • Maintain a strong internal control and documentation framework to support audit readiness
  • Lead and develop accounting managers and teams, driving standardization, systems optimization, and continuous improvement

About the Team

The Record-to-Report Accounting team delivers accurate and compliant financial reporting across global entities within a shared services and global delivery model. The team partners closely with Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Audit to execute close processes, uphold strong internal controls, and advance standardization and transformation initiatives.
